ZAGREB, 20 October 2023 – Popular English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is coming to Croatia for the first time.
Sheeran will perform at the Zagreb Hippodrome on August 10, 2024, with support from Calum Scott.
His upcoming Asian tour will be his first since 2019, while the European dates will continue his stay on the continent last year. The news comes at a time of his record-breaking tour across North America. During multiple performances there, Ed set records, including at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where he gathered the largest audience ever at a single concert in the United States.
“For starters, I would like to thank the city of Zagreb and the team at the Hippodrome for their excellent collaboration. I am thrilled that we have once again managed to bring a grand open-air show of this international star to Zagreb after several years. As a leading company in the Austrian market with an exceptional portfolio, I hope that this project will be the starting point for future great projects in Zagreb and Croatia. Finally, I would like to thank our local partners Hrvoje Strčić and Damir Vranić for their support,” said promoter Ewald Tatar from Barracuda, Muzika.hr reported.
This year, Sheeran released two albums, “-(Subtract)” and “Autumn Variations,” both of which have topped charts worldwide. On both LPs, Sheeran collaborated with Aaron Dessner of The National.
