Croatia has beaten Slovenia in a dramatic overtime victory 76-74 at the EuroBasket in Slovenia on Sunday in front of 4.000 fans.
The victory, Croatia’s first win over Slovenia in 18 years and Slovenia’s first loss at the tournament, was helped by Bogdan Bogdanovic 24 points seven rebounds. The Utah Jazz’s second-round pick from 2008, Ante Tomic, who was Utah Jazz’s second-round pick from 2008, scored 11 points and 15 rebounds for Croatia. Croatia now needs to beat the Czech Republic later today (17:45) to advance through to the second round of the EuroBasket.
