Dutch DJ, record producer, and remixer Fedde Le Grand will perform in Osijek, marking the beginning of the summer music scene in eastern Slavonija.

Fedde Le Grand will perform on Saturday, June 6th, at Opus Arena at 20:00 local time.

Organized by Pulse Events, the even will also feature local talents Yakka and Marko Felinger. The event attempts to revive the EDM/Electronic/House scene in Slavonija and place Osijek on the international music map again.

Fedde Le Grand is one of the biggest names in electronic dance music as an iconic DJ and producer. Hailing from Utrecht, Netherlands, and growing into one of the biggest names in the house music genre for nearly two decades.

He rose to international fame in 2006 with the chart-topper ‘Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit’, the track that reached number one in the UK singles chart, had 30 weeks in the Dutch top 40, and was a dance chart favorite across Europe, including a five-week run in Spain.

Besides his debut success, Le Grand has also given other iconic anthems to the world and has worked with singers such as Ida Corr, Camille Jones, and even Coldplay.

With clubbing classics like ‘Let Me Think About It,’ ‘So Much Love,’ and ‘Rhythm Of The Night,’ Fedde Le Grand has been a worldwide club and festival brand. From Ultra Music Festival to Tomorrowland, he has mesmerized people with his productions and high-quality performances.

Other performers of the night mentioned above, Yakka, the author of the hit “Plešem Sama,” brings his energy from Nova Gradiška. At the same time, Marko Felinger, a favorite to many in Osijek and a resident of the legendary Oxygene Club here within the city, is known for his distinctive sound.

The event takes place at the recently inaugurated Opus Arena, which is set to host its first non-football event since opening in July 2023.

The 13,005-seat-capacity arena is the perfect setting for an electrifying audio-visual event to kick-start the summer music season. As expected, demand for tickets is soaring and quickly selling out.

Croatia is renowned for electronic music festivals such as Ultra Europe in Split and Hideout Festival in Zrce.

However, the eastern part of the country has been very quiet for a long time and has been deprived of an EDM/Electronic/House artist of this caliber for a fairly long time.

As someone who was an avid raver and festival goer in my day, I have seen it firsthand since moving here three years ago, but it is a major step in the right direction for the city of Osijek and the Slavonija region.

This event is more than a concert; Fedde Le Grand’s performance is a catalyst for change. It’s a bold statement that aims to inspire a wave of future EDM/Electronic/House events, bring in more international artists, and reignite the music movement for the region.

When asked about the event, Pulse Events stated the following:

“We, as organizers, are proud that we are bringing one of the biggest stars to ever emerge within the industry to Osijek. This is the first historic event at Opus Arena, and with it, we hope to start a trend of big events and entertainment within the Osijek and Slavonija region.”

Visit eventim.hr or physically at all Crodux, Petrol, and Tisak Media outlets to grab your tickets before they sell out and get ready for a night that will go down in Osijek and Slavonija’s music history by putting the region back on the music map—one beat at a time.
