First Croatian food truck festival returns to Zagreb

The popular Food Truck Festival returns to Zagreb from 25 August until 11 September at Lake Jarun with concerts, tasty street food, drinks and more. 

The first Croatian food truck festival opens again on Thursday, 25 August with a concert from Šajeta.

Some of the best local acts will play during the latest edition of the Food Truck Festival, with all concerts stating at 8 pm.

The food trucks at the festival include INA – Fresh Corner with BBQ, Fumo Santo  – the popular street food place from Rijeka, Cromaris with fresh fish specialities, Picnic from Zadar, who are one of the top food trucks in Croatia at the moment, Mrav with their famous burgers and  Dubrava Food Makers who will be making their festival debut.

Nadine’s fritule and palačinke will be served in the sweet corner for all those with a sweet tooth, and Pri Suncu will present their ice cream on a stick for the first time at the Food Truck Festival.

“The festival is held under the new slogan #Nekljetotraje (let summer go on) and performances by famous DJs, concerts, excellent gastronomic offer and the special atmosphere of the Jarun oasis guarantee a good time,” organisers said.

All events and concerts at the Food Truck Festival are free for visitors, and the festival is open to visitors throughout the week – on weekdays from 4 p.m., and on weekends from 12 p.m.
