First McDonald’s Coming to Zadar

Towards the end of last year Croatia Week reported that there were rumours global fast food chain McDonald’s were to open a restaurant for the first time in the Dalmatian city of Zadar. Those rumours have been confirmed with McDonald’s placing job adverts this week in the local newspaper…
On Wednesday McDonald’s took to the local newspapers to look for potential cooks, cleaners, legal, hostesses and marketing staff for the new Zadar restaurant. Applicants have been invited to apply from 13 January by sending in their CV’s via email ([email protected]) or in writing to: Globalna hrana d.o.o., Rudeška 87a, 10000 Zagreb (McD Application – Zadar).
The famous ‘Golden Arches’ restaurant will be situated at the city’s main train station.The first McDonald’s restaurant opened in Croatia in the capital Zagreb in 1996, and now there are McDonald’s restaurants in 20 locations around the country.
