Did you know that one of the first VR cinemas in the world opened recently in Zagreb? No, we’re not talking about VR games – but VR movies.
In the last few years, VR technology has reached the point that filming movies has become possible, and some of the most progressive and creative authors in the world have pioneered this new field that will, most probably, become the most widespread form of entertainment and education very soon.
Come and experience a completely new and mind-blowing dimension of film. The fully immersive 360° 3D experience is more like teleportation than old school movie watching.
Don’t be just a passive spectator – get inside the movie! More info about the VR Cinema KEK, the movies you can watch and how to get tickets here: https://vrkino.kek.hr/en/cinema-program/.
Besides some of the world-best, cutting edge VR movies, you can also watch first Croatian VR documentary, by travel writer and storyteller Davor Rostuhar, “Hunter-Gatherers VR” and teleport yourself among some of the last people in the world that live in the way humans have lived for 99% of our history while we evolved into what we are today.
Even better: you can come to the multimedia author event, where Davor Rostuhar will guide you through VR experience and give you some wider context both of the movie and of the VR madness. This Sunday 28th April he will hold a first Author event in English.
It’s very cozy and intimate atmosphere, only 25 people attend, and a unique, educational, entertaining, and inspiring way to get out in Zagreb.
