Fisherman Swims 2 Hours To Shore After Fall

A fisherman has swum nearly two hours in 15 degrees water to his safety last night on the Dalmatian coast. The drama unfolded when a 35-year-old fisherman fell into the sea at Makarska from his trawler at around 10pm.

The man then swam for 1:45 minutes to the shore at nearby Baska Voda on the Dalmatian coast. Two boats were sent out to look for the fisherman but could not find any trace of him. At around 11:45pm the missing fisherman’s sister reported that he had swam to his safety to Baska Voda.
