flydubai postpones Zagreb-Dubai summer service

ZAGREB, 7 April 2021 – United Arab Emirates low-cost carrier, flydubai, will not resume traffic between Zagreb and Dubai this summer.
flydubai announced that it would resume flights between Dubai and Zagreb this summer, as a replacement for Emirates, which cancelled all its flights on the same route for the rest of the year.
The airline originally planned to resume traffic at the beginning the year, and flights were then delayed from month to month.
The last announcement from the airline was that the route would start operating again from the end of May, but as of yesterday, all flights have been canceled until September 1 this year, Croatian Aviation reported.
flydubai will not fly between Dubai and Zagreb this summer, and all planned flights between Dubai and Dubrovnik for this year have also been canceled.
“A return to Zagreb on September 1 is not certain. If the company is not able to fill its capacity in the coming summer months, then the occupancy of this service is even riskier after September 1, when demand is usually lower,” Croatian Aviation said.
