flydubai to Take Over Emirates’ Zagreb Winter Service

(flydubai)

Dubai-based low-cost airline flydubai will take over Emirates’ winter service between Dubai and Zagreb.

flydubai will operate flights between Dubai and Zagreb from 2 December 2018 to 30 March 30, 2019, with its Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. Emirates will then resume operating the service at the start of April.

“The move will ensure that capacity is deployed to best serve customer demand by maximising the frequency for passengers during the winter season”, Emirates and flydubai said in a statement.

The move is the latest in a series of partnerships between Emirates and flydubai after the two announced a partnership deal last year. The two airlines currently code-share to over 90 destinations.

During the winter months, flights will depart Dubai at 10.00 and arrive in the Croatian capital at 13.15, with the return flight leaving Zagreb at 14.30 and returning at 23.00. flydubai’s flights to Zagreb will depart from Emirates’ Terminal 3 at Dubai Airport.

Under the deal, Emirates passengers receive complimentary meals, which are normally paid-for on flydubai, and get the Emirates baggage allowance.

Last winter season, Emirates maintained five weekly services between the two cities.
