Zagreb, July 25 – Glovo, an application that connects users with restaurants, supermarket chains and retail stores, presented the summer trend of food & grocery ordering based on the activities of domestic and foreign users of this application in Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, Šibenik, Rijeka, Pula, Rovinj, Poreč, Makarska and Kaštela.
Thus, according to Glovo’s data, in June of this year, in these Croatian tourist destinations, the most ordered products were burgers, pizza, kebabs, popcorn and pancakes, as well as bananas, water and beer, among Croats and their guests.
As expected, the demand for summer products such as ice cream, watermelons and sun protection creams also increased in June and the first half of July on Glovo.
When it comes to cities, Zagreb and Split are the cities with the most orders throughout the year, but some of the cities on the coast, such as Split, Šibenik and Makarska, recorded double-digit growth in orders since the beginning of this year’s tourist season.
Glovo achieves all this thanks to more than 1,000 partners, including restaurants, grocery stores and retail partners.
