Football World Cup to Arrive in Croatia this Month

People in the Croatian capital Zagreb will be able to get a chance to see close up what the winning World Cup football captain will be lifting in Brazil on 13 July this year…
The gold World Cup trophy will arrive in Croatia and be exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb on 23 and 24 February as part of the cup’s world tour which will see it travel 150,000 kilometres to more than 70 nations. Along with the display, a host of other events have been planned to coincide with the arrival of the most famous trophy in world sport, including hologram animation and special guests. The FIFA World Cup Trophy has been presented to the winners of the World Cup since 1974, when it replaced the Jules Rimet Trophy.
