Four new cases in Croatia in last 24 hours, active cases drop to 169

ZAGREB, May 19, 2020 – There have been four new COVID-19 cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, the national crisis management team said in a statement on Tuesday.
Today’s new cases bring the total tally of cases to 2,232. The new cases were all reported in Brod-Posavina County.
There was one COVID-19-related fatality also reported in the last 24 hours after three days in a row without a fatality. The current death toll stands at 96.
There have been 1,967 recoveries to date, 21 more than yesterday. This means there are currently 169 active COVID-19 cases in Croatia.
There are 120 in hospital as of Tuesday, 2 fewer than Sunday with 10 patients currently on a ventilator.
Since late February, Croatia has conducted 55,800 tests, including 980 in the last 24 hours.
