As of yesterday tourists and locals in downtown Zagreb are able to surf the internet free of charge. The first phase of the ‘Free Wi-Fi’ project in the Croatian capital is now complete with access to free internet for those visiting the main ban Jelacic square, French Republic square, Croatian greats square, Kaptol, and the cities main train station. The free wi-fi system will see free internet access in the centre with it eventually spreading to areas with condensed population such as the large Mamutica apartment blocks where over 5,000 people live.
