17 January 2019 – Winter is set to kick in across Croatia with fresh snow forecast over the next week.
A cold front is heading towards Croatia late on Thursday evening bringing fresh snow to parts of Croatia.
“The cold front and secondary cyclogenesis over the northern Mediterranean will bring a new round of snow to the region. Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will see significant snowfall until late on Friday,” Severe Weather Europe writes.
Slovenia is expected to receive a significant amount of snowfall in lowlands, whilst around 20-40 cm of snow is expected in elevated areas of Croatia, mainly in Lika and Gorski Kotar.
