Game of Thrones to Begin Filming Season 3 in Croatia

Filming for the third season of the popular HBO American medieval fantasy drama television series “Game of Thrones” is set to begin on Thursday in the southern Dalmatian city of Dubrovnik.

The crew from the hit series are back in Croatia after filming part of season two in Dubrovnik. “A difference from last year, when shooting scenes in Dubrovnik lasted more than a month, this year filming will be done in around 10 days. Shooting begins on Thursday in Lovrijenac,” a source told Dalmacija News, adding that filming will also take place in the Old City of Dubrovnik and Trsteno.
