Gay Couple Bashed On Busy Bus

Police are looking for a man in his early 20’s and his girlfriend, after a gay Croatian student and his Spanish partner were bashed on a crowded bus in the Croatian capital Zagreb.

The homophobic attack happened at around 8:10pm on a busy number 34 bus heading west of downtown Zagreb on the weekend. “Faggots, get lost from here! What the f**k are you’s doing here,”? were words directed at the 24-year-old student and his partner, a Spanish citizen, before the brutal attack.

The attacker began punching and kicking his victim just as the bus approached a station, his girlfriend supporting the attack as the pair continued to verbally and physically attack the pair. As the doors opened for the stop the attackers fled, reported index.hr.
