A German pension fund has purchased the Joker shopping centre in the Dalmatian city of Split, reports daily Slobodna Dalmacija.
Poor business results had forced the malls owner, former Mayor of Split Željko Kerum, to put the shopping centre on the market, and according to reports it looks like the Germans have paid under the odds for the 54,000 square metre centre. Kerum has sold Joker for 70 million euros, approximately 30 million euros less than its value. Further details about the sale were not available, nor any comments from Kerum about the sale.
