Well thanks to a mobile app developed by two locals from Makarska on the Dalmatian coast, you too can be ‘connected’ with the press of the few buttons.
Vice Rudan and Ivan Rašić have developed Croatia Olive Oil – a comprehensive guide where you can find and locate “locals” in Croatia who are selling their homemade Olive Oil. The app is free to download for both Android and iPhone. For local homemade olive oil producers advertising their product on the app is free.
“The application is the go-between for olive oil producers and those looking for good quality homemade olive oil, who are not only locals but also a lot of foreign tourists during the season,” said Rudan.
