Croatia’s Saints Hills Winery is celebrating once again. Their wine, Ernest Tolj Dingač, has received an impressive 99 points from the prestigious Wine Enthusiast magazine.
This is the second time that this wine has been awarded such a high score, confirming the exceptional quality of this wine. The continuous success in the wine scene reflects the expertise and dedication that the Tolj family invests in every wine they produce.
Not only is Ernest Tolj an expert in producing top-quality wines, but he is also dedicated to humanitarian efforts.
All proceeds from the sale of this wine are directed to the “Saints Hills for Kids” foundation, which helps children without parental care, sick children, and children with developmental difficulties.
Ernest Tolj Dingač wine is the result of the finest grapes from selected parts of the Dingač vineyards in Pelješac and is produced in the best years. Such selection allows for truly special expressions of the grape variety and terroir, ensuring that what is in the bottle is always of the highest quality.
After fermentation, the wine matures in new oak barrels for two years and then continues to age in the bottle until its final encounter with the enthusiasts of this wine.
This recognition places Ernest Tolj Dingač among the top world’s best wines, and it holds a special significance as it pertains to an indigenous wine variety that has only recently begun to receive global recognition for its extraordinary quality.
