A 13.6 metre yacht sailing under the Italian flag has mowed down a 16-year-old German tourist, killing her instantly, reports daily Jutarnji list...
The shocking incident happened near the southern channel of Fažana in Istria at around 11:10 am on Wednesday. The 16-year-old victim was diving when she was struck by the yacht. The injuries suffered by the teenager were so bad that parts of her body had been amputated. Marine police have immediately begun to carry out investigations at the scene. (pic: Tehnomont)
