This past weekend, the Croatian Fraternal Union (CFU) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, celebrated the 90th anniversary of Croatian Fest at Croatian Park.
The event attracted a large crowd of all ages, who enjoyed a full day and night of festivities.
The fest featured delicious traditional Croatian food, including lamb, pork, chicken on the spit, and the popular ćevapčići, all prepared by American-European Foods.
For dessert, there was an ample selection of traditional Croatian pastries. Attendees also enjoyed a variety of Croatian drinks, including Karlovačko, Ožujsko, Croatian Park Ale, Šljivovica, wine, and other liquors.
Entertainment was a highlight of the day, with a cultural program followed by a performance from the popular musician and vocalist Ivan Heller.
Everyone had a great time celebrating Croatian culture and heritage.
Proceeds from the event will support the construction of the new Boris Buco Kuzmanovic Pavilion, which had its groundbreaking ceremony earlier this month and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
To further raise funds, a raffle was held for a new 2023 GMC Terrain SLT AWD fully loaded SUV, generously donated by Mike and Branka Dudas of Len Dudas Motors in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The raffle draw will take place on Thursday, September 19th, during the regularly scheduled Beer Garden event.
