Iberia Express launch first flights between Madrid & Zadar

Spanish low-cost airline Iberia Express will launch a new service next summer between Madrid and Zadar.
Commencing on 2 July 2019, Iberia Express will operate between Madrid and Zadar on the Dalmatian coast until 31 August. Using its 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft, Iberia will fly twice weekly between the two cities.
Iberia Express is owned by Iberia Group which operates services already in Croatia to Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Split.
The Madrid-Zadar fights will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Zadar was named recently as one of the top 10 cities to visit in 2019 by Lonely Planet and the announcement of a number of new flights to the city from around Europe will mean 2019 could be one of the busiest seasons yet for the Dalmatian gem.
Ryanair recently announced flights next season from Hamburg, Cologne and Nuremberg to Zadar.
