Ibrahimovic In A Croatian Shirt – Finally

New Croatian Football Federation President Davor Suker has been more like Santa Claus in his first few months at the helm, handing out Croatian football shirts left, right and centre.
This time he was in Paris where he presented Zlatan Ibrahimovic with his own personalised shirt, moments after the legendary Swedish and PSG striker destroyed Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League.
Suker presented Ibrahimovic with the shirt because of his Croatian connection. Ibrahimovic’s mother was from Zadar on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, whilst his father was from Bosnia.
Unfortunately for Croatia this is the closest they will get to seeing him in a Croatia shirt as Ibrahimovic made it quiet clear though where his loyalties lie. “My mother is from Croatia and my father from Bosnia, but I am 100% Swedish and am very proud of that,” said the pony-tailed scoring machine.
