Iconic Croatian Domaćica Biscuits Release New Summer Flavour

Croatia’s famous Chocolate-coated tea biscuits ‘Domaćica’, which have been a favourite for generations, is now available in a brand new flavour with the release of a new special summer edition.

Made by Kraš, Domaćica has been a permanent figure in kitchens for 60 years in and outside of Croatia. Now a new limited edition has been released.

“This summer you can enjoy a new variety of the Domaćica family. The new Domaćica features a dark crunchy biscuit coated with 23% white chocolate. A unique flavour of Domaćica is an addition to the Kraš’ range of varied flavours of the favourite biscuit,” says Kraš.

It is not the first new variant for Domaćica, which also come in milk chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate and with coconut. The release has been backed by a new World Cup-themed marketing campaign featuring brand ambassador Croatian and Barcelona footballer Ivan Rakitić.

Rakitić has been the face of Domaćica ever since he set social media on fire after he posted a photo of himself, Douglas Pereira, and Neymar eating Domaćica biscuits after they won the FIFA World Club Cup in Japan.

The photo was viewed by over 5 million people on Facebook and 700,000 people on Rakitić’s Instagram and Twitter profiles in just the first 24 hours.
