Unique furniture from one of Croatia’s most iconic movie theatres, Kino Europa, will go on sale to the public this weekend.
Have you always wanted to have an armchair or a wooden table from the old Müller Hall, and maybe some memorabilia from Kino Europa? You can buy them on February 4th and 5th at our garage sale in the former Zagreb Pen Factory – is how the garage sale was announced on Facebook post.
All items are sold in the “AS SEEN – PURCHASED” condition, which excludes the possibility of subsequent complaints. Sales and collection outside the specified times, as well as reservations, are not possible.
The sales location will be marked at the entrance to TOZ Penkala. It is possible to arrive in front of the entrance of the warehouse by car or van. Payment is possible with cards and cash, they added.
Kino Europa Garage Sale
When: 4 & 5 February, 11am – 3 pm
Where: TOZ Penkala, Poljačka 56, Zagreb
If there are unsold items after the mentioned dates, another garage sale will be organised.
Kino Europa was built in 1924 by the Zagreb-based Müller family, who wanted to construct the most beautiful, important and modern cinema in the region at the time.
The cinema opened its doors to the public back in 1925 and it quickly became a cult place in the city. The cinema closed in 2019.
