Former Croatia coach Igor Štimac is in the running to take over the vacant Bosnia and Herzegovina national team manager position…
Štimac, who was in charge of Croatia between the summer of 2012 and October 2013 before he was sacked, will be interviewed for the role tomorrow by the football federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports daily 24sata. Safet Sušić was sacked by the FA after Bosnia were beaten by Israel in EURO 2016 qualifying.
Štimac has been jobless since being shown the door by the Croatian FA after a 2-0 away loss to Scotland in October last year. The former Derby County defender has been linked with his former club in the UK, but former England boss Steve McClaren currently has a firm grip on that job.
