IKEA Croatia reported recently that it achieved revenues of €165.7 million in the 2024 financial year, marking an annual increase of 10.4%.

Director of Market for IKEA Croatia, Davorka Pazanin, said in an interview with Poslovni dnevnik that the Croatian market is thriving in a year when the group is experiencing a global decline.

The IKEA store in Rugvica, Zagreb ranked among the top five of 480 IKEA stores worldwide.

Pazanin highlighted an investment of €12.8 million aimed at reducing prices, making over half of the product range more affordable.

Additionally, IKEA Croatia is focusing on sustainability by implementing faster, more environmentally friendly deliveries and initiatives to extend product life, including second-hand furniture and textile donations.

For 2025, Pazanin says IKEA Croatia is placing special emphasis on sleep, promoting products designed to support better rest. Under the slogan “Wake Up! It’s Time for Sleep,” IKEA offers solutions addressing sound, light, temperature, and comfort, based on years of research.

Online sales account for 38% of IKEA’s total sales in Croatia, significantly exceeding the global average of 21%.

Our ambition is to cover the market in a multi-channel way so that we can be available to customers whenever, wherever and however they want, and these data confirm that our digital channels are well received. In the beginning, our plan was a department store in Zagreb, but then it expanded to six delivery centres where we deliver ordered products for a low fee or for free, Pazanin told Poslovni dnevnik.

IKEA also plans to open another Planning Studio to get closer to its customers all over Croatia.
