Interest High as Canadian Agency in Croatia Seeks 150 Workers

With unemployment levels continuing to be at alarming levels at home, it seems that Canada is still a desirable destination for many young Croats in the search of jobs abroad. Interest was again high as a Canadian employment agency was in the capital Zagreb looking for 150 workers, reports Glas Istre.

The Canadian job fair, which is currently being held at Hotel Central until Wednesday, is organised by Croatian agency Concessum in conjunction with Global Hire Canada, and presents those interested to perspective Canadian employers. The Canadian agency is in Croatia reportedly looking for around 150 workers, with warehouse workers, forklift drivers, builder’s labourers, painters, mechanics, plasterers and truck drivers the most popular jobs. Knowledge of the English language is a must, and the rest will be down to a selection process. The successful Croats will be given 2-year work visas for Canada.
