Although it has already been operating for several months, the new International British School in Zagreb had its official Opening ceremony this month…
UK Ambassador to Croatia, David Slinn, as well as the COBIS Director Colin Bell, welcomed the opening of the school, and congratulated the Bright Horizons team, on their great achievements in establishing the school and delivering such a high standard of education to the pupils at the school.
The school was honoured and privileged that the Ambassador Mr. Slinn has accepted an invitation to become a Patron of the school. International British School of Zagreb “Bright Horizons” was established in fall 2013 to meet growing demand for international education in English, offering international primary curriculum in line with the UK National Curriculum. With the next school year, a new generation of children are planned to be enrolled in the first grade.
“Bright Horizons” school was a logical educational continuum of an early preschool education in International kindergarten Horizons established in Year 2006. International School “Bright Horizons” is the first school in Republic of Croatia that received a candidate status as one of the members of COBIS global network (Council of British International Schools) that represents and supports the Provision of Outstanding Education in British International Schools of Global Quality.
