International Career Beckoning For Footballer’s Daughter

Her father forged an impressive international career abroad playing football, now young Croatian designer Anamarija Asanovic is off to embark on one of her own.

The 23-year-old daughter of former Croatian football international Aljosa Asanovic has accepted a job with a Turkish fashion brand. Asanovic, who will be based in Istanbul, will be designing the brand’s youth collection as she gets her international career off the ground.

“It is a successful brand and they have engaged me to design their youth collection,” said Asanovic.

“Istanbul has amazing architecture and everyone will help you if you get lost there, but it is a little dirty,” said Asanovic, adding that she has started to learn some Turkish, reported 24sata.
