International Journalists on Game of Thrones Tour in Dubrovnik

Expect the Croatian city of Dubrovnik to get plenty of media space in some big publications in the coming weeks after 19 international journalists just completed a Game of Thrones tour in the popular stone-walled city…
Journalists from The Sun, The Daily Star, Yahoo Movies, Metro, Metro News, E Talk and Radio Times were in Croatia over the weekend to take a tour of all the filming locations in Dubrovnik for Game of Thrones, which has been filmed there since 2011. The tour was organised by HBO, Embassy Films Croatia, the Croatian Tourist Board in London and the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
As well as checking out the filming locations, the group also had time to see what else the city had to offer, as well as sampling some local cuisine. HBO spent 5.7 million euros last year on production in Croatia, which also provided a great boost to tourism also.
