World-renowned singer Noa, whose real name is Achinoam Nini, represented Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009 and caused a stir recently when she turned down a prestigious award from an Israeli recording arts association because of the association gave an award to a right-wing performer, Ariel Zilber.
