The new A’Design Iron Award was given this year for the visual identity and packaging design of the Figura brand. The Istrian brand sells autochthonous Croatian products in Hong Kong.
RIJEKA, 20 May 2022 – The Rijeka studio Zambelli Brand design already knows what it is like to win the world-famous A’Design award for graphics, illustration and visual design for identity for two Croatian brands (QUIX and Benin), and this year they added a third.
That brand is Figura, which sells autochthonous Croatian products in Hong Kong. Anja Zambelli Čolak was awarded this year as an example of perfection in visual identity and packaging design, which very few designers worldwide can claim.
There were more than 50,000 works from more than 180 countries in 120 categories in the competition, so this award is a really big thing for the local design scene in Croatia because it shows how a world-renowned quality can be kept constant.
“After being selected by LogoLounge for Istrian Panissimo, this is proof of how Istrian brands can really go far when local knowledge and talent come together,” Anja Zambelli Čolak, owner of Zambelli Brand Design, points out.
A ‘Design Award & Competition is the first organisation in the world to create value for designers, artists and architects. Due to A’Design organisation and methodology of independent judges, the award is considered a trophy of prestige in the creative world.
Also, the judges are composed of academics, representatives of specialised media and industry-proven experts. The award is given once a year with the aim of promoting excellence in design.
