Istrian Kazun Officially Opened In Peak Districts National Park

The Croatian Ambassador to the UK Ivan Grdesic was present on Friday at the official opening ceremony of the Istrian Kazun in England’s famous Peak Districts National Park

The Kzaun, which is a traditional stone shelter from the north-west region of Istria in Croatia, was built in England’s famous Peak Districts National Park as part of the Welcome Croatia festival programme in the UK. The projects drivers, Nenad Bicanic and architect and Kazun restorer Branko Orbanic, selected the Peak District National Park because of the long and rich tradition it has with dry stone wall constructions.
