Joy Division Founder Playing In Zagreb

The co-founder of famous British post-punk band Joy Division, famous for a host of hits in the late 1970’s including “Love will tear us apart”, is coming to play a concert in the Croatian capital with his new band.
Peter Hook, who was Joy Division and later New Order’s bass player, will play at Zagreb’s PAUK venue on 21 March with his band Peter Hook and The Light.
In May 2010 Hook with his band The Light performed a set of Joy Division songs including every number off Unknown Pleasures at the Factory club in Manchester. Besides performing a concert in Zagreb, Hook will also introduce for the premier screening of the 30-minute film ‘Joy Division – A Celebration’ , which will be shown before the concert.
Tickets for the event are 120 kuna (15 euros) from Dirty Old Shop and Rockmark or 150 kuna (20 euros) at the entrance. Timings will be announced on the day of the concert.
