Klapa Intrade Intrigues New York

More than 1500 turned up to the Grand Ballroom at the Manhattan Centre on New York’s Times Square to watch one of Croatia’s most respected klapa groups, Klapa Intrade.
“This was an experience, therapy, medicine for the soul,” was just one of the comments from a patron who attended the sold-out concert, writes Dnevnik.hr. Traditional Dalmatian Klapa singing is all the rage at the moment, attracting more crowds than their pop-singing counterparts on Croatia diaspora tours around the world. The crowd which turned up to watch Klapa Intrade was the largest a Croatian musician has ever attracted in New York.
Tomislav Bralic and Klapa Intrade now move onto Chicago where they will play on 10 April.
