The Šibenik City Administration announced on Thursday that the Italian Ministry of Defence had initiated the proposal for the 3 Croatian defence systems inclusion on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, together with a number of defence systems that were in the territory of the former Republic of Venice in the period from the 15th- 17th century. The proposal is a joint one between Ministries of Italy, Croatia and Montenegro.
