Latest FIFA Rankings: Croatia 8th in the world

ZAGREB, 17 September 2020 – Croatia has dropped from sixth to eighth place in the new FIFA rankings, FIFA announced on Thursday.
The ‘Vatreni’ lost their two opening Nations League matches to Portugal (1: 4) and France (2: 4), and have slipped to eighth place.
Portugal and Spain and now overtaken Croatia.
There were no changes at the top, Belgium with 1,773 points, retains the top spot, whilst France’s victory in Paris over Croatia has helped them stay in second place with 1,744 points.
Brazil is third with 1,712 points, and the fourth place is held by England with 1,664 points.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, matches were played only by European national teams.
