After a victory and a loss in November, Croatia has remained in the top 5 in the world according to the latest FIFA rankings which were released on Thursday.
Croatia’s 3-2 win over Spain in Zagreb and the 2-1 loss to England at Wembley has not affected their position and they remain 4th in the world. Croatia is just 42 points behind Brazil who are in third place.
Belgium remains the number one ranked side in the world, just one point in front of World Cup winners France. England is fifth, three points Croatia.
There was only one change in the top 10 from last month’s rankings with Portugal climbing to 6th and Uruguay dropping down to 7th in the world.
There will be a break now for the Croatian national team with the next match not set to take place until March 2019 when the EURO 2020 qualifiers begin.
