Leading Croatian Bakery Chain Opens in Frankfurt

Croatia’s oldest and largest bakery chain has opened its first franchise outlet in the German city of Frankfurt.
Mlinar, which has over 200 bakeries around the world, have opened its first store in Frankfurt this week at the city’s central bus station.
The bakery in Frankfurt, branded Mlinar, is set out exactly the same as the Croatia stores and offers the same products. The store is operated by franchise partners.
Mlinar opened a store in the prestigious location of Marienplatz, the central square in the city centre of Munich in 2015.
Mlinar, who last week opened a store in Sarajevo, have expanded internationally rapidly over the last two years.
Apart from Croatia, there are now stores in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany, Ireland, Slovakia, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, UAE, Swtizerland and Australia.

Mlinar say that they plan to open a further 150 bakeries in Germany over the next 5 years. Mlinar manage over 200 bakeries from their base in Zagreb.
