But that does not mean you still can’t impress locals and make a few people laugh by learning some well-known Croatian sayings or phrases.

Today’s saying:
Bogu iza nogu
The phrase “bogu iza nogu” is used in Croatian to describe a place which is in the middle of nowhere. A remote location where there is not much around happening.
The literal translation of the phrase is ‘behind God’s legs’.
