English Premier League cellar dwellers Leicester City have signed Croatian international striker Andrej Kramarić from NK Rikeja on Tuesday for £9.7million, reports British media…
Kramarić, who was the Croatian 2014 Player of the Year after scoring 21 times in 17 games, flew out to London on Monday to meet with Chelsea FC bosses, but it was Leicester City who won the race for the 23-year-old’s signature.
Kramarić, who has signed a 3 and a half year deal with the Foxes, will move immediately to King Power Stadium, with his first task trying to get Nigel Pearson’s side to avoid relegation. Leicester City are currently sitting at the bottom of the table with just 3 wins in 20 matches.
Kramarić started his football career in his hometown club Dinamo Zagreb and holds the record as the top youth goalscorer in the club’s history.Hailed as one of the club`s biggest talents, he made his first official appearance for Dinamo at the age of 17.
