Kiwi-Croatian music sensation Lorde is set to play a major role in the next installment of the Hunger Games movie franchise….
The Auckland-based singer-songwriter announced yesterday that she has been appointed as the musical curator of The Hunger Games: Mockngjay – Part 1.
“I am so pleased and proud to have been announced the sole curator of the soundtrack for MOCKINGJAY – PART 1,” she tweeted. “Building this thing piece by piece has been amazing. i can’t wait to share the other artists’ contributions with you,” tweeted the Grammy-winning star.
Lorde said she had already written the first single for the movie, which is due to be released later this year in November.
