Lufthansa Launch First Frankfurt – Pula Service

Germany’s largest airline Lufthansa launched a new service between Frankfurt and the Croatian city of Pula on Friday.
The inaugural flight, an Embraer 190 aircraft, touched down in Pula today, with all passengers on board the aircraft receiving gifts from Lufthansa.
Lufthansa will use a Bombardier CRJ 900 aircraft between the two cities twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, until 20 October 2017.
Present today to welcome the inaugural flight were Lufthansa’s Head of Sales for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, Peter Pullem, and Bernhard Wodl, Lufthansa’s General Manager for Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.
Pula Mayor Boris Miletić, representatives from the Istria County, Marko Ravnić and Valerio Drandić, and Denis Ivošević, Istria Tourist Board Director were also there today.
Lufthansa is one of the world’s biggest airlines, travelling to 209 destinations in 81 countries around the world. Together with their subsidiaries, they fly to over 410 destinations, making them the second biggest in the world.
Besides, Frankfurt, Lufthansa connect Pula to Munich. The Pula – Munich service will operate from 3 June – 30 September 2017 on Saturdays.
