Captain of the Croatian national football team and Real Madrid star Luka Modrić is set to become a co-owner of a popular Croatian craft brewery.
According to a report from Klikni.hr, Modrić will join Zeppelin Craft Brewery, a well-known name in Croatia’s growing craft beer scene which is located in the city of Bjelovar.
The news was confirmed by Bjelovar Mayor Dario Hrebak.
I’ve known about this for a few months now. Now it’s official. Congratulations to the team on a great beer Zeppelin Craft Brewery my personal favorite and one of the highest quality in Croatia. Best of luck to the new owners, and our Veliko Korenovo zone will be ready for potential brewery expansions and new investments,” he wrote, sharing the article.
Zeppelin Craft Brewery, which was founded in 2017 in Bjelovar by beer lovers, is famous for its high-quality, unpasteurised and unfiltered craft beers, which consistently receive top ratings and are in demand across the country.
The brewery’s reputation for excellence has made it a favourite among beer enthusiasts.
There is also speculation that the brewery may soon launch a special edition beer inspired by Croatia’s footballing icon. If true, it would be a fitting tribute to one of the nation’s greatest-ever players.
Modrić, who continues to shine for both club and country, now looks set to make his mark in the world of craft brewing as well.
