Croatia and Real Madrid star Luka Modrić has sent Argentina’s president a video message which the president shared on his official Facebook page.
President Mauricio Macri was impressed with the video message and signed No.10 Real Madrid shirt he received from the Croatian captain.

“Hi, dear President. I know you are a big football fan and I am glad to greet you. I wish you and all Argentinians a lot of luck for the future. I am sending you this gift and I expect to meet you one day. Big hug,” Modrić said in the video message which Macri got via WhatsApp.
“What a great Modrić, today I got this video via WhatsApp,” President Macri wrote on his Facebook page before publishing the video message.
Modrić famously scored Croatia’s second goal in their 3-0 win over Argentina at the World Cup in Russia.
