Croatia has two international rugby fixtures coming up next month, against Switzerland in Split on 2 November and against Malta away one week later, but selector Milan Yelavich might be thinking of making a phone call to Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti to check the availabity of Luka Modric. Modric was out filming a tv commercial for sports betting firm bwin with team-mates Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Jese Rodriguez in Madrid and showing that he has the best left-foot in rugby since Jonny Wilkinson.
