After spending over a month holidaying on the Croatian coast in 2020 and returning last summer, American basketball legend Magic Johnson is back again this week to enjoy another holiday in Croatia.
Magic had nothing but praise for Croatia after his previous visits, and he remains just as impressed after exploring Dubrovnik again.
– We’ve officially touched down in Croatia! We spent the day exploring Old Town Dubrovnik, where Game of Thrones was filmed including the Black Water Bay scenes – Magic wrote on Facebook, before adding.
– Cookie and I had an outstanding dining experience with Rodney, Holly, Mike, and Natasha at Nautika restaurant and the food was amazing! Cookie and Rodney are both huge Game of Thrones fans, so this was definitely an exciting day of the trip for them.
Now 64, Magic played as a point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers for 13 seasons. He won an NBA championship and the Finals MVP award in his rookie season and secured four more championships with the Lakers throughout the 1980s. Last week, Magic also visited Montenegro.
In 2020, Johnson wrote on Twitter, “Cookie and I just got back from Croatia and we highly recommend it to anyone! The food was fantastic and the country is just beautiful!” He posted a photo of the boat he holidayed on, docked at the island of Korčula.

He was also a member of the 1992 United States men’s Olympic basketball team, known as “The Dream Team,” which won the gold medal at the Olympics that year.
