Man Cuts Brake Lines on Combi in Revenge Act

A 39-year-old man is lucky to be alive after being the victim of a crime taken straight out of the movies.  Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in the Dalmatian town of Šibenik after he cut the hydraulic brake lines of a combi van belonging to the victim...

The victim had set off in his VW Transporter before realising that his brakes were not working. Luckily the man managed to stop the car before any serious damage was done. The man, who says he had received threats before the incident, reported it to the police who then arrested the 21-year-old man in connection with the crime.  The man later admitted cutting the hydraulic brake lines on the VW Transporter with pliers. The man has been charged with endangering life, damaging property and committing a dangerous act, reported daily 24sata.
