Man Kills Wife Then Walks Into Police Station to Confess

A 62-year-old man in the Croatian town of Zadar on the Dalmatian coast has walked into a local police station yesterday afternoon and confessed to killing his wife just a few hundred metres down the road, reports daily 24sata.

It is still unclear why the man killed his 53-year-old wife and how, although reports suggests that he ‘beat’ her to death after a fight. Neighbours reportedly heard cries from a women’s voice from the couple’s home of “I won’t, I won’t” and calls for help.

“We have conducted an investigation of the scene and what I can say is that a woman has been found dead in the flat, I can not say anything about any weapons yet,” said the country state attorney Ivan Galović. The couple have a son and a daughter and both were not present when the crime happened.
